Stamp for a Cure!

I have decided to make this project in honor of my daughter Ashley. For those of you who have not heard my five year old daughter, Ashley, has recently been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She is an amazing kid and continues to impress us with her great attitude towards this disease. ALL proceeds from this project will go directly to the American Diabetes Association in Ashleys' name!

The purses are approximately 7" across x 4 1/2" tall x 4" deep. They will easily fit many cards and envelopes inside and would be great to hold swaps!

By making a donation of any amount to the American Diabetes Association you can get the full tutorial for this project.

CLICK HERE to see Ashleys' Diabetes Page and/or make a donation!

I thank all of you who make a donation of any amount from the bottom of my heart. You are welcome to make a donation to this great cause even if you do not want the tutorial. So many people suffer from this disease and every penny donated gets them that much closer to finding a better way to handle the disease and hopefully find a future cure!
Thank you.

I would also welcome anyone else who has a blog, to post the photo of these purses and a link to Ashley's diabetes page or this blog post.
The more people that see this and are able to donate the better!

Deck the Halls 3 Card Class

I have finally found some time to do some stamping again! I am thrilled to say Ashley is doing great and we have all found a little bit of time to relax!
Here is my Deck the Halls Three Card Class. These cards use Deck the Halls Designer Series paper, Deck the Halls buttons and the Peaceful Season stamp set. This is a great class to show how all of Stampin’ Ups products go together so nicely. This project makes a great gift to give someone with the box full of envelopes and cards!
You can also change up the colors and stamp set to make these into non-Holiday cards. Just use the layouts and techniques shown and make up your own theme!

Candy Corn Card

I was inspired by the saying from the Birthday Bakery stamp set and thought I would make it into a Halloween card. To make the candy corns I just taped three strips of paper together, white, tangerine tango and daffodil delight. Then I cut out the size candy corn I wanted from scrap paper and used it as a template to cut the four candies out. The arms and legs are the branch from the bird punch!
